SUNSTONE WINERY

Sunstone's tasting room is reminiscent of some of the small wineries in the Provencal countryside, featuring a kitchen complete with a wood-burning oven and two stone barrel-aging caves built into the hillside. The Rice Family farms their  56-acre vineyards in an organic, bio-sustainable manner, meeting all California Certified Organic Farmer standards.

GAINEY VINEYARD

The Gainey Vineyard was the first winery to own vineyards in both the warm, eastern end of Santa Ynez Valley, where the family concentrates on Bordeaux varieties, and the cool western Sta. Rita Hills, where they have planted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah. This unique advantage allows the Gaineys to completely control all phases of their winegrowing: from planting of vines to viticultural techniques that emphasize low yields, to winemaking that stresses minimal processing.

Lincourt

Founded in 1996 by Bill Foley, Lincourt is a producer of ultra premium wines from the Santa Maria and Santa Ynez Valleys. Named in homage of his two daughters, Lindsay and Courtney, Bill has always been enchanted with the diversity and distinction of wines crafted in Santa Barbara County. In 1997, Bill acquired distinguished 30-acre estate and winery in the Santa Ynez Valley and hired renowned winemaker Alan Phillips. Together Alan and Bill have contracted fruit from the regions finest vineyards and in concert with the estate fruit have established Lincourt as one of Santa Barbara's most compelling wine portfolios.

FOLEY

Foley Estates Vineyard & Winery at Rancho Santa Rosa is the realization of vintner Bill Foley's dream to produce world class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Santa Barbara County. A historic parcel located in the Sta. (Santa) Rita Hills region of the Santa Ynez Valley, Rancho Santa Rosa was formerly a thoroughbred horse ranch. In 1998, the 460-acre property was purchased and planted to 230 acres of vineyard. Devoted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah, the vineyard has been subdivided into 59 micro-blocks with each being farmed, harvested and vinified separately. The handsome stables have been refurbished to house the winery, with tremendous detail going into the planning of a modern facility, while honoring age-old winemaking tradition.

BUTTONWOOD

Buttonwood Farm Winery is a small gem set amidst the splendor of Santa Barbara County's Santa Ynez Valley. Our 39-acre vineyard stretches across a sun-drenched mesa on the eastern portion of our 106-acre property. We started planting in 1983 and now have 33,000 vines, small in the world of wine, but huge to us.

Buttonwood's varietal mix of sauvignon blanc, semillon, marsanne, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and syrah reflects the preferences of owners Betty Williams and her son-in-law, Bret Davenport, for Bordeaux and Rhône style wines. As we expected, they grow perfectly in our warm, eastern Santa Ynez Valley location.
